I have tried using a software phone (xlite) on my PC for SIP calls with Orbtalk, but the sound quality is really poor. I would also like to use it when my PC is not turned on. What do I need? This is for a small business.

You will get much better call quality if you use a hardware phone. The best hardware VOIP telephones on the market are made by a german company called SNOM.
