ZyXEL's ES-1552 Web managed extra smart Ethernet switch includes 52 fast Ethernet copper ports plus four Gigabit uplinks (two 1000Base-T ports and two SFP slots) which provide non-blocking connection power to networks.
The flexible multi function design means the switch can integrate easily into any network. By utilising 4G uplinks and port aggregation functionality, the bandwidth on critical paths can provide resilience by merging multiple traffic pipelines into logical ones, dramatically increasing network stability.
Simple Management With Web GUI
The inclusion of a streamlined intuitive web GUI simplifies the setup of features and configuration such as 802.1Q VLAN, 802.1p traffic priority and static port aggregation.
Many legacy web smart switches improve manageability but can often be complex to use. Powered by a new hardware platform with smart ACL technology; "Auto DoS Attack Prevention" and "Auto VoIP" management features provides hassle-free operation.
Auto DoS Attack Prevention features mean the ES-1552 ExtraSmart Switch is highly capable of protecting against DoS attacks. A few clicks of the mouse are all that is required to initiate the protection features.
Supporting 802.1Q VLAN for traffic isolation, as well as static MAC forwarding and dynamic ARP allows a strictly protected network to be created.
One Click Setup: Auto VoIP, QoS And Bandwidth Management
Auto VoIP reduces the time required to setup VoIP on a network. It works by identifying VoIP packet patterns and then grants the highest priority to establish a VoIP-friendly communication.
