My Broadband connection was just downloading at the rate of 576kbps until I decided to try this out, without holding out much hope, really. I was under the impression that it would only work with BT broadband as my ISP is an alternative company. However, after reading the numerous rave reviews about this simple piece of plastic, despite my skepticism, I decided to give it a try. It only involves a simple DIY process. And I was ecstatic to see that almost immediately, the download speed had increased 5 fold to 2.7 Mbps !!!!! So goodbye forever to waiting for aeons for the pages to download. For those of you who suffer from sluggish download speeds, this is indeed worth a try.
